The City of Westland is offering limited COVID-19 vaccine appointments for Westland residents. Our Vaccinate Westland program aims to administer all the doses we are provided to Westland residents eligible to receive the vaccine at this time.
Current Eligibility Requirements:
Westland Resident
Seniors 65+ years old
People 50+ years old with medical conditions or disabilities
Caregiver family member or guardian who cares for children with special health care needs
If you do not meet one of these criteria, you will not be allowed to get a vaccine at the clinic, regardless of you having a scheduled appointment.
When scheduling an appointment, do not try to order more than one ticket at a time. If you do, the name of the person that is using the other appointment will not be listed on the registration list and they will not be allowed into the clinic. If ordering for multiple people complete each registration separately.
The demand for the COVID-19 vaccine still far outweighs supply, so appointments are limited and will be scheduled in the order that the requests for vaccination are received. We also encourage people to continue to try to register for vaccines through their healthcare provider or local pharmacy.
Our team at the City of Westland has worked incredibly hard to organize this important program, and we are proud to be offering this opportunity to eligible Westland residents when vaccines become available.
